I don't think I've talked much on what I've been playing so here goes some updates on that.

Silksong

I was again playing Silksong since i have yet to finish it. I've finally moved more towards completing the ending by getting the silk and soul quest. Now, this would've been fine and all if it wasn't for Groal, a very annoying boss that I still don't know how to deal with because he is so annoying. A gauntlet of the most annoying enemies (that repeats every time you die mind you) in one of the most annoying areas where touching water infects you and you have to waste a heal just to get rid of the stupid thing (at least there's an item that prevents this for a little bit as long as you don't jump into it too much). Groal is so annoying that I went out of my way to fight The First Sinner, one of the hardest bosses in the whole game, and beat her in a few tires ones I got the hang of her attacks. Yet this blob is making it almost impossible to progress towards true ending, because otherwise I end up with an unsatisfying ending for Hornet.

Deltarune

Funny enough, even if I did play Undertale when it was the popular thing to do back when I was in middle school, I never got around playing the sequel to it. I'll be fair the fandom doesn't help the case (which is just a general thing for a game like this it seems) so it's only just now that I got around it. I finished the first chapter and it was quite nice so far. Hopefully I'll get through the rest soon since I can sometimes just not play the game for really no reason even if I like it lmao.

We had a heavy rain this past week and the basement flooding/water came back to haunt me, I don't understand why it happened now and not the previous heavy storms we've had this year... also there is some sort of chimney leak coming through the ceiling/wall surrounding the chimney - although according to my dad, it's not the chimney? But like I got a new roof last year... I doubt it's not the chimney so I have to try and figure out how to pay for that and who/what can fix it. I also can't get up into my attic so I can't even check myself. I haven't officially called anyone for quotes or even to look at it, mostly because my dad thinks he or my brother will probably be able to fix the issue with chimney/roof thingy... which would be great if they can which could potentially save me money. I think my brother is coming tomorrow to finish the office floor, so I'm not sure if he or my dad will check it out tomorrow, because if he decides they can't, I'll call someone on Sunday or Monday.

This is making me hate rain, but I used to enjoy it - maybe not driving in it of course, but just like being in the house or work and it's raining? Yes I did. The best was being on a porch and watching it rain. I haven't really done that though in long time. And it's also making me hate basements.....

I should have spent time calling places today, I know, but I hate calling people and I woke up late because I was mostly tossing and turning with nightmares all night. I did drink a cup of tea before dealing with drying the basement when I woke up though - there still some wet spots, but I managed to use the fans and dried a few spots by rotating them at different sections throughout the day. The subpump I think managed to get all the water out from the basement door area (you know those storm doors that they always show in farm related films? that's kinda a separate area in my basement that floods a lot) or maybe it just finally slowed down/stopped? enough that I think I shut it off just before coming up tonight. I'm not looking forward to the Monday/Tuesday storms, I'm hoping they end up passing us or it's not enough to reactivate the water. For the water in the basement I definitely need to call in a professional for it - I just wish I knew which business my aunt used that last time - when they did it seemed to really work.

Anyway after that, I finally went outside to deal with the yard so that way in case my dad did show up tomorrow it wouldn't be in the way of the chimney/roof thingy, but I should have drank water or ate something because of the heat or being out in the sun it felt like I was either going to throw up or pass out after a while. I should have maybe worn my hat as well, maybe I'd have lasted longer... I got a lot accomplished before I couldn't do anymore and went inside for water and a shower but also didn't finish. I have no idea what time it was when I went out nor what time I came in, but I feel like maybe it was an hour or two? Maybe three? I should have looked at the clock. After the shower I just laid on my bed, and I think I may have slept for a bit... I don't remember when Gabby (my cat) joined me on the bed, but when I woke up again she was with me. And I kind of just laid there for a bit before I managed to convince my body to get food. The weird thing is I wasn't hungry at all, even as I ate. Nor am I really now. Just thirsty. I stayed on the couch while I ate and when Xena (my other cat) cuddled up to me I played Pokémon Violet until my switch battery died.

My sister went into the ER a week or two back - mostly found that out via my mom from my niece who had apparently called/texted my mother about her going to the ER for a "headache".... in completely unexpectedly my mother had not freaked out  at the time, she went back to bed after she informed me or whatever. I saw the message when I got to work and I'm the one that freaked the fuck out, asking why she'd go to the ER for a headache. So my mom called my brother-in-law to get an update - apparently she had a kidney stone (my niece or my mom just misunderstood what was happening), and she got it lasered this past Monday. She was in pain, but she seems to be fine now thankfully.

I also managed to drop one of those battery-powered drills on my left foot and it seems like my pinky-toe took the brunt of the impact - it was all black & blue and was swollen (honestly still a bit swollen). It's only painful when I'm in sneakers or when I bump my toe.

So I've mostly been trying deal with the above anxiety pit - so I haven't been sleeping very well, which apparently affected my attitude at full-time job, so a co-worker of mine who had never really had deal with the more depressed version of myself was like "you changed" and "I'm worried about you" (he didn't know me prior to last June). I don't think my attitude has changed that much within the last month, other yes I do feel more depressed and short-fused a bit, but than again this whole past year had me less depressed than I have been in years so maybe I'm just back to my normal? And he just has to get used to it. I don't know. My carpel tunnel is acting up as well, which is not helping, because my arms hurt or ache, and it's making me think I'll probably have to get that surgery... Plus my period seems to come with really bad cramps anymore which sucks.

In other news, I got a small raise from retail job, it was like a 20/25/50 cents raise, so not much, but it's appreciated. And because of my full time job we got two free extra days of this year, and I picked yesterday and today. Mostly so I could have a long weekend, and because I could go see Supergirl & Spider-Man yesterday. Which I did because yay me having giftcards/points to use. I recommend both movies. I really enjoyed both of them. Right now I have a headache again (stress? dehydration? fuck knows) otherwise I'd probably go into details on what I loved/liked/etc. but I've been wanting to write for a while and figured I'd give you guys some personal update.

Maybe I should have spent the day at my friends' house or inside painting the office room, which I've said I've wanted/will be doing for weeks now but still haven't. I don't know, maybe tomorrow? Maybe I wouldn't feel as meh as I do now.

I'm going to bed again, I think.
